Terms of Service

Last updated 18 October 2026. These terms apply to the PaperLah website and its parent and child areas.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using PaperLah, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. Accounts are for parents and guardians aged 18 or over. Children use PaperLah through a parent's account and under that parent's supervision.

2. Your account

You sign in with your email address or Google account. Keep access to that email, and your 4-digit parent PIN, to yourself: the PIN keeps the parents' area, problem reports and payments away from children. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

3. Emails we send you

By creating an account, you agree that we may send emails to the address on your account. There are two kinds.

Account and service emails. These are needed to run your account, so they are sent while your account is open:

Progress emails you can switch off. A weekly summary of your child's practice (on when you sign up) and an alert if there has been no practice for 3 days (off when you sign up). Switch either on or off at any time on the parents' dashboard.

We do not send advertising or promotional emails unless you separately agree to receive them, and any such email would include a way to unsubscribe. We never sell your email address or share it for others' marketing.

4. Plans, the beta offer and payments

Prices are shown in Singapore dollars before you pay. A pass gives access for the period and to the levels shown when you buy it; it is a one-time payment and does not renew automatically. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.

The beta offer is S$10 for 30 days of one Primary level for one child. It is limited to the first 100 paying families and may end or change at any time; passes already bought keep working until they expire. If something is wrong with a purchase, contact us and we will deal with it fairly and in line with Singapore consumer law.

5. The papers and answers

Questions come from Singapore primary school assessment papers. Answers come from each school's answer key, read by AI models and checked automatically, so a small number may be wrong or unclear. Questions we know may have a problem are marked. If you spot a mistake, use Report a problem on the question and we will check it. PaperLah is a practice tool; it does not guarantee exam results.

6. Fair use

PaperLah is for your own family's use. Please do not share your account outside your household, copy or republish the papers, questions or answers, sell access, or use automated tools to download content. We may limit or close an account that breaks these rules.

7. Changes and availability

PaperLah is being actively developed and some features may change. We aim to keep it available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you and ask you to accept the new version before you next buy a plan.

8. Closing your account

You can stop using PaperLah at any time. To delete your account and your children's practice data, contact us and we will remove it within 30 days, as described in the Privacy policy.

9. Responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Questions about these terms: a reply to any email we send you.

This is a starter version. Have it reviewed by a Singapore lawyer, and add the operator's legal name and a contact email (SUPPORT_EMAIL), before launch.
